We have very exciting news! The Knowland Group has been ranked one of the Top 50 Best Places to Work in Greater Washington by The Washington Business Journal. More than 300 companies in the area competed, but only 50 were listed including us! We find out June 2 where we are on the list. Wish us luck!
It’s not an easy task to be ranked on this list. The winners were selected based upon employee satisfaction surveys. To ensure that the employees are happy, Knowland offers great benefits, competitive pay and perks. Knowland provides excellent medical, dental and vision benefits, 401(k), reimbursements of child care, tuition, gym memberships and we have an on-staff personal trainer to answer all our fitness and nutrition questions.

Knowland also believes it is important to promote employees from within. To help employees advance their careers, the Knowland Employee Development Pipeline was established. The Pipeline is a combination of continuous training, access to industry publications and a clear pathway to promotion so every employee knows what they need to accomplish before they can move up the ladder. The Pipeline was established in 2010 and already, nearly 30% of employees have received promotions.
